Horse Training
Groundwork and Halter Breaking: Provides an excellent start for yearlings or for gentling a stud.
Usually 15 days, depending upon horse's previous exposure to human contact.
Includes:
basic ground manners
sensitizing & desensitizing
long-lining
handling their feet
making them willing & supple
yielding to soft feel on the rope
trailer loading

30 Days - will include ground work as above, plus:
started reining
responsive under saddle to walk, trot, lope, back & stop
easily accept handling of feet and legs
60 Days - will include all of the above, plus:
intermediate reiner
comfortable with dragging (tires, tarps, etc)
usable, good trail horse
90 Days - will include all of the above, plus:
groundtying
hobbling
finished reiner
started on cows
familiar with varying terrain such as sand, lakes,pasture, arenas and hills. (We will customize this to the owner's needs if desired.)
We will also take horses out for individual rides as needed and requested by the owner.
