Here's a bit about what we do... 
Horse Training
  • Groundwork and Halter Breaking:  Provides an excellent start for yearlings or for gentling a stud. 
    •  Usually 15 days, depending upon horse's previous exposure to human contact.
    • Includes:
      • basic ground manners
      • sensitizing & desensitizing
      • long-lining
      • handling their feet
      • making them willing & supple
      • yielding to soft feel on the rope
      • trailer loading
  • 1st 30 Days - will include ground work as above, plus:
      • started reining
      • responsive under saddle to walk, trot, lope, back & stop
      • easily accept handling of feet and legs
  • 60 Days - will include all of the above, plus:
      • intermediate reiner
      • comfortable with dragging (tires, tarps, etc)
      • usable, good trail horse
  • 90 Days - will include all of the above, plus:
      • groundtying
      • hobbling
      • finished reiner
      • started on cows
      • familiar with varying terrain such as sand, lakes,pasture, arenas and hills.  (We will customize this to the owner's needs if desired.)
  • We will also take horses out for individual rides as needed and requested by the owner.
