~Welcome to Snelling Ranch~
The family of Michelle Snelling feels that it would be appropriate to update this page.  We want to let all of you know of the changes at Snelling Ranch.  In  July of 2006, Michelle was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer ~ She spent the next two years enjoying every moment she could be at home on the ranch working along side her beloved husband, Andy Ray.  She passed away at home very peacefully with Andy Ray by her side, November 14th, 2008.
We apologize that this news comes so belated.  Michelle had spent hours upon hours creating the website for Snelling Ranch, and had been so very diligent in keeping things updated, and answering everyone’s e-mails. We apologize for the lack of updates and late replies in recent months. It has been difficult to even put this announcement into words and make a change to this website as it will always be Michelle’s.
The animals at Snelling Ranch were her passion... Thank you for taking the time to see what Snelling Ranch is all about.
We would like to thank all of you who kept Michelle and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
We dedicate the home page in Loving Memory of Michelle.

***The Appaloosa breeding program at Snelling Ranch has been transferred to Andy Ray’s mother, Pat Weiner of Greybull, Wyoming.  Please see the ‘related links tab’ for Pat’s website.  ***

Welcome...

Here at the Snelling Ranch, we're nestled in a valley between the Wind River and Owl Creek Mountains of Wyoming where we breed, raise and sell beautiful, quality Appaloosa horses.

Even if you're not an Appaloosa fan, we hope you check out our pages because you may just change your mind about them.

My husband Andy has been riding and training horses for as long as he can remember, and is happy to share his expertise by taking in horses for breaking and training in Western riding.  Come see us - it'll be worth the trip.

He also does custom haying in and around the Fremont County, Wyoming area.  If you're around here, give us a call to get on our 2009 summer schedule!

Our motto is 'Exceeding Your Expectations" and our plan is to do just that!
